TREV-Y-COED, a hamlet, forming that part of the parish of LAMPETER which is in the upper division of the hundred of TROEDYRAUR, county of CARDIGAN, SOUTH WALES, 3 miles (W. by S.) from Lampeter; containing 90 inhabitants. This hamlet, a detached portion of the hundred of Troedyraur, and situated nearly in the centre of that of Moythen, lies on the road from Lampeter to Cardigan, and extends to the river Teivy. Neuadd, a neat residence, standing on a well-wooded eminence, north of the turnpike-road, forms a conspicuous and pleasing object in the approach to Lampeter. Here was formerly a chapel of ease to the mother church, but it has long since been demolished.
