ADDLE, (Yorkshire, W.R.) not far from Leeds, is noted for a moor adjacent to it, on which, an. 1702, were discovered the
foot-steps of a roman T. many fragments of their urns, and of a large stone-aqueduct; and at a little distance from thence
is a roman camp, pretty entire, with the ruins of their sepulchral monuments.
