BARGHAM, (Staffordshire) at the source of a r. that runs into the Ouse, almost opposite to Thetford, bel. formerly to the
priory of Ely. In the Ch. lies interred Helena, the only daughter and heiress of Thomas Little of Bray in Berks, the wife
of Edward Bacon (the third son of Sir Nicholas Bacon, Ld.-keeper) who had 19 sons, and 13 daughters, and lived to near 82
years of age.
