BERRY-CASTLE, (Devon) in its neighbourhood, was first built by the Pomery's above-mentioned, and most nobly enlarged by
Sir Edward Seymour, Bt. in the R. of Charles I. but demolished during the civil wars. 'Tis still the seat of a Bt. of the
same family.
