BLITHFIELD, (Staffordshire) near Pagets-Bromley, has its name from the r. which passeth by it. It was, for a good while,
the estate of the family of Blithfield, 'till it passed, by marriage, to the Bagots of Bromley, from whom is descended its
present owner Sir Walter Wagstaff-Bagot, who has a park here.
