BOSWORTH, (Leicestershire) 104 m. from London, called Market-Bosworth, stands pleasantly, in a wholesome air, and a fruitful soil, both for corn and grass. There's a Mt. here on W. and Fairs on April 27, June 24, and Ocf. S. Here was formerly a chantry, and a fr. s. was founded here by Sir Wolstan Dixey, Ld. of the manor, son of Sir Thomas, Ld. mayor of London, whose descendants did lately, if they do not still enjoy it.
