BROMLEY-ABBOTS, (Staffordshire) on the skirts of Derbyshire, 7 m. from Tutbury, and 101 cm. and 128 mm. from London, had
this name from its abbey, which, at the Ref. was given to Ld Paget, to hold of the crown, and is therefore now called
Bromley-Pagets. It has a Mt. on Tu. and a Fair Aug. 24.
