CLANDON-EAST, (Surrey) lies to the N. E. of Guilford, about 22 m. from London; and was anciently the estate of Gerard, Ld. Aungier, of the Km. of Ireland, who had both a house and park here, and whose family lies buried in the Ch. West-Clandon, about 2 m. from Guilford, is the manor of Ld. Onslow, whose title is Ld. Onslow, of Onslow and Clandon, and whose seat is near the Ch. The Ch. was so old and decayed, that it fell down in 1716, but has been rebuilt once by the parishioners.
