COLLINGHAM, NORTH and SOUTH, (Nottinghamshire) 2 or 3 m. from Newark on Trent, bel. anciently to the abbey of
Peterborough; and, on its being turned into a Bpk. K. Hen. VIII. assigned the revenues of both ps. which were near 86 l. a
year, towards the support of the D. and C. The late Earl of Stamford was the grand lessee. At N. Collingham was, not long
ago, a ch. sc. if there be not one now.
