CROFT-CASTLE, (Herefordshire) on the N. W. of Leominster, a little below the conflux of the Wadels and the Lug, is the seat of Sir Archer Croft, descended of an honourable family, who had it even before the Norman invasion. Here is a park, with a camp and 2 ditches in it, called the Ambry, from whence there is a lovely prospect.
