DENINGTON, (Suffolk) near Framlingham, was, in the R. of Hen. V. the Lp. of Sir John Phelip, one of whose descendants, the Ld. Bardolf, in the R. of Henry VI. founded a chantry here. From him it went by marriage to Visc. Beaumont. It was afterwards in the possession of the Wingfields and the Rouses.
