DOWARD-HILL, (Herefordshire) in the S. b. of it, in the p, of Whitchurch, where, in digging for iron ore and lime-stone,
broad arrow heads and gigantic bones have been found; and by the ditches there, 'tis supposed to have been once a
fortification.
