FELIXTON, (Suffolk) on the coast bet. Landguard-Fort and Bawdsey-Haven, has on its cliff the ruins of a castle, at least
the foundation of one side of the wall, the rest having been devoured by the sea. The many Roman bricks still to be seen,
together with the Roman coins that have been discovered here, are a strong proof, that it was once a Roman colony.
