FOKINGHAM, (Lincolnshire) 83 cm. 104 mm. from London, bel. formerly to the Beaumonts, then to Thomas D. of Norfolk; who having forfeited it, K. Edw. VI. gave it, in exchange for other manors, to the Ld. Clinton. It stands on a rising hill in a very pleasant air, with abundance of good wholsome springs about it; but has no great trade, and but a little Mt. which is on Th. and the Fairs on Ash-W. May-day, and Nov. 11.
