The manor did bel. to Tavistock-Abbey, but great part of the waste, now called the Moor, was given to the inh. and the rest to Walter Medlande, and his heirs. After the Ref. it was purchased by Robert Afcott. Its Mt. is on Tu. and Fairs on May 10, June 11, Aug. 24, and Oct. 18.
