HEWEL-GRANGE, (Warwickshire) 3 m. E. from Bromsgrove, was given by the Empress Maud to the neighbouring mon. of Bordesley
in Worcestershire; but at the Ref. K. Hen. VIII. granted it therewith to Sir Andrew Windsor, Knt. Ld. Windsor, in exchange
for the manor of Stanwell in Middlesex. The succeeding Lds. Windsor made it one of their principal seats, as it is now of
Ld. Windsor, E. of Plymouth.
