HEXGRAVE-PARK, (Nottinghamshire)in the p. of Southwell, and on the N. W. side of it, is supposed to have been made by Walter, Abp. of York, in the R. of Hen. III. Sir Hugh Cartwright and his posterity had a lease of it; and it went by marriage of the last Sir Hugh's daughter to a son of the late Abp. Sterne.
