KILBORN, (Middlesex) in the road from Londen to Edgworth, is in the p. of Hampstead. Here was formerly an hermitage, and afterwards a nunnery, to which the manor bel. as did also some lands and tenements in Knightsbridge; but after the Diss. the site of the mon. was given by Edward VI. to John Dudley Earl of Warwick. A spring of medicinal water was lately found out here,
