LADBROOK, (Warwickshire) to the S. of Southam, bel. formerly to a family of the same name; then to the Catesbys; one of whom being attainted, in the R. of Hen. VII. it fell to the crown, and was granted to Sir John Risley, and his heirs; but was soon restored to Geo. Gatesby, son of the person attainted. It was afterwards conveyed to John Throckmorton, who, in the R. of Q. Eliz. passed it to Sir Rob. Dudley, whose daughters conveyed it to Will. Palmer; and from him it was passed to Sir Will. Palmer of Clerkenwell, who had it in 1640. Here was a bridge over the r. Ichene to Herberbury.
