LASSINGTON, (Gloucestershire) near Glocester. On a hill near it are found those called Astroites, or Star-stones, because they are flat, and fine pointed like a star. They are as broad as a silver penny, as thick as a half crown; and when put into vinegar, have a peculiar quality of motion.
