SNAREHILL-HOUSE, (Norfolk) on the E. side of Thetford, is deemed extra-parochial, and with that called Thetford-Lodge, is
all that remains of two villages, called Great and Little-Snarehill, which bel. formerly to the priory at Thetford, and to
the abbey of St. Edmundsbury. At the Diss. it went to the D. of Norfolk, and has since passed through several hands to
Mrs. Buxton, daughter of Robert Buxton of South-Elmham.
