TARVIN, (Cheshire) or TERVIN, 4 m. E. of Chester, near a brook that comes from Torperley, was made a Mt.-T. by Sir John
Savage, which is since disused. Here was an ancient seat of the Bruines, which afterwards passed to the heir of the famous
lawyer Will. Brock.
