UPTON, (Worcestershire) with a bridge on the Severn, 6 m. S. W. of Pershore, 84 cm. 101 mm. from London, has a Mt. on T. and Fairs on Whitson-Th and June 29, and is noted for giving name to a H. and for Roman coins often dug up, which prove it to have been a station of the Roman soldiers. Here is a harbour for barges, and a ch. sc. for 16 girls.
