LITTLE-WALDEN, (Essex) its hamlet, is now Audley-End, on the side of Cambridge road, and was the seat and barony of the late E. of Suffolk, whose son was, by the courtesy of England, stiled Ld. Walden; but by the death of the last Earl without issue, in 1745, the title devolved to the Earl of Berkshire, the next branch of the Howards noble family, who have a fine park of about 200 acres, that extends from hence to the T. and has before it a canal cutout of the r. Cam.
